The Union Auto Dealerships is an official body that represents accredited car dealerships in Kuwait and acts as their legal representative in front of government agencies and official authorities inside and outside the country.
The Union was established on 23 August 1978 under Kuwait Law No. 38/1964, based on the initiative of car dealerships to protect their interests and organize their work.
The Union currently includes 27 members, representing more than 50 official and certified car dealerships in Kuwait.
The primary goals include safeguarding the interests of member dealerships, enhancing solidarity and cooperation among them, exchanging knowledge, and addressing market and regulatory challenges.
The Union communicates with government authorities, conducts studies and research on automotive market issues, organizes training programs, and represents member viewpoints on commercial and industrial matters.
The Union conducts traffic awareness campaigns, educational programs, research publications, seminars, training courses, and marketing awareness initiatives about the importance of authorized agents and genuine spare parts.
The Union aims to integrate smart digital systems, reduce paper processes, strengthen communication with members through digital platforms, and establish an accredited information center for market data and research.
The Union participates in traffic awareness campaigns, collaborates with Kuwait University and the Public Traffic Department on accident studies, and promotes the use of electric and low-emission vehicles.
The Union works with government agencies to address challenges caused by regulatory decisions, request necessary modifications, and ensure compliance with Gulf standards and fair automotive market practices.
The Silver Jubilee marked 25 years of achievements, honoring the efforts of member dealerships who contributed to Kuwait’s industrial and economic progress since the Union’s establishment.
